Digital Sovereignty in Practice: Guidelines for Technology Companies
Posted on 2025-03-09 in workshops
I have been using open source software for almost 25 years — in the companies and teams I manage and, of course, for personal use too.
In this workshop, I provide suggestions for the use of processes and software in both on-premises and hosted solutions, to minimise the dependency of your own IT or technology company on hyperscale behemoths.
This workshop is not intended to suggest a “big bang” changeover of an existing company IT system away from all existing solutions. Instead, it shows how individual solution areas in the company can be gradually replaced or expanded with solutions that drive digital sovereignty.
